چکیده
CO2 capture and utilization has been considered as an up-and-coming short- to mid-term approach mitigate the excessive emission. Comparing conventional separate capture, transportation conversion arrangement, integrated (ICCU) could largely simplify complex process reduce energy consumption. However, poor stability of high-temperature sorption/desorption severely limit potential ICCU. Therefore, it is indispensable develop a new sorbent/catalyst system ensuring high-efficiency long-term operation In this paper, we propose demonstrate feasibility performance using K2CO3-doped Li4SiO4 efficient sorbent for ICCU operating at relatively low temperature by dry reforming methane. Results show that ratio H2/CO produced stabilized 1 ± 0.05 in pre-breakthrough stage, duration extends be 1.6 times original value cyclic operations, displaying excellent reaction matching stability.

Integrated CO2 Capture and Utilization Using Non-Thermal Plasmolysis
In this work, two simple processes for carbon dioxide (CO2) such as capture and utilization have been combined to form a whole systems approach to carbon capture and utilization (CCU). The first stage utilizes a pressure swing adsorption (PSA) system, which offers many benefits over current amine technologies. It was found that high selectivity can be achieved with rapid adsorption/desorption t...
متن کاملTwo novel oxy-fuel power cycles integrated with natural gas reforming and CO2 capture
Two novel system configurations were proposed for oxy-fuel natural gas turbine systems with integrated steam reforming and CO2 capture and separation. The steam reforming heat is obtained from the available turbine exhaust heat, and the produced syngas is used as fuel with oxygen as the oxidizer. Internal combustion is used, which allows a very high heat input temperature. Moreover, the turbine...
متن کاملThe State of Zirconia Supported Platinum Catalystsfor CO2/CH4 Reforming
In Pt/ZrO2 catalysts used for CO2/CH4 reforming to syngas, not all accessible Pt contributes equally to the activity of the catalyst. The catalytic activity is determined by the accessibility of Pt on the Pt-ZrO2 perimeter. This is explained in terms of the CO2 activation via carbonate species on the support which must be in the proximity of the Pt particles to react with the methane activated ...
متن کاملHydrogen Production via Steam Reforming with CO2 Capture
Hydrogen demand in refineries is increasing vigorously due to the stringent transportation fuel specifications, furthermore the interest in the so-called hydrogen economy developed in the recent years put the hydrogen as energy carrier in the centre of a growing interest. More than 95% of the hydrogen for refinery use is nowadays produced via hydrocarbon steam reforming, where Foster Wheeler pl...
متن کاملOne-step hydrocarbons steam reforming and CO2 capture
1. Introduction Already in 1868 [1], H 2 was produced by the steam reforming (eq.1) of hydrocarbons in the presence of a calcium oxide, and the use of natural calcium-based sorbents as candidates to remove CO 2 in situ from reactors has been receiving increasing attention. Through simultaneous CO 2 absorption (eq.3) the equilibrium of the homogenous water gas shift reaction (eq.2) is shifted to...
